Privacy Policy
Last updated: 30 October 2026
Short version: this site has no ad networks, no third-party analytics and no tracking cookies. It does keep ordinary web-server logs and counts gallery views. Nothing is sold, and nothing follows you off the site.
00 At a glance
- No advertising, no profiling. There is no ad network, no behavioural tracker, and no third-party analytics script on this site.
- No accounts, no comment system. Reading the site requires no personal information at all.
- Ordinary server logs are kept for security and debugging, and rotate away on their own.
- Nothing is sold or shared for marketing, because there is nothing to sell and nobody to sell it to.
01 What is collected
Running a website means processing a small amount of technical data automatically. The site collects:
- Request logs — the page or file requested, the date and time, the response status, the referring page, and your IP address together with the browser/user-agent string you sent. This is what any web server records, and it is used to serve the site, spot abuse and troubleshoot faults.
- Photo gallery view counts — when a gallery page is viewed, a record of the day, the gallery and a visitor identifier (your IP address) is stored so that repeat views are not counted twice. It is a counter used to show which sets people actually look at; it is not linked to any profile and is not used for advertising.
- Anything you choose to send us — for example if you contact us through the channels listed below, we receive whatever you put in that message.
The site does not ask for, and does not want, sensitive personal data. Please do not send payment card details, government identifiers or health information through any contact route on this site.
03 Hosting and network
This site is self-hosted on hardware we control, sitting behind Cloudflare's network as a reverse proxy. That means:
- Cloudflare terminates the TLS connection and forwards the request to our origin server. In doing so it processes request metadata — including IP address, requested URL, and headers — and may set security-related cookies or serve a bot-verification challenge. Cloudflare's own handling of that data is governed by its privacy policy.
- Our origin server then holds the logs described above, on a machine we administer, in a data directory that is not publicly reachable.
- TLS is end-to-end encrypted for the browser-to-edge leg and re-encrypted between the edge and origin.
04 Third parties and outbound links
This site links out to services we do not control: GitHub, MakerWorld, Ko-fi, Stripe, and the other sites in the roster. When you follow a link or make a payment, that service receives your request and any information you give it, under its own privacy policy — not this one. We do not receive, and cannot see, the card details you enter on a payment provider's page.
There are no embedded third-party analytics, pixel tags, social-media widgets, embedded videos or comment plugins on this site that would report your visit to someone else. Images and fonts are served from this domain, not from a CDN or a font service.
05 Photographs of people and vehicles
Some pages publish photographs taken at track days, meets and events. They show scenes and vehicles, and occasionally people in public settings. If you appear in a photo on this site and would like it removed, contact us with the gallery and the picture you mean, and it will be taken down without argument. Likewise for a vehicle or plate you would rather not have published.
Photographs are not used for advertising, are not sold, and are not run through facial-recognition software.
06 How long data is kept
- Request logs are rotated and expire automatically, and are retained for a maximum of about 45 days.
- Gallery view counters keep only aggregate numbers over time; the per-day visitor identifiers are not used for any other purpose and are not joined to anything.
- Messages you send us are kept only as long as needed to answer you, unless there is a reason to keep them longer (for example a legal obligation).
Aggregated statistics — like total page views, with no identifiers — may be kept indefinitely.
07 Your choices and rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to ask what personal data is held about you, to have it corrected or erased, to object to its processing, or to ask for a copy. Because this site holds so little, most requests boil down to removing a log line or a photo.
To make a request, contact us through the channel below and be specific about what you want removed or confirmed. Requests are handled manually and in good faith. If you believe your data has been mishandled you are also entitled to complain to your local data-protection authority.
Setting your browser to send Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control is harmless here; the site already does not track you, so the signal changes nothing.
08 Children
This site is not directed at children under 13 and does not knowingly collect personal information from them. The content is aimed at adults building cars, printing parts and racing on a computer. If you believe a child has sent us personal information, contact us and it will be deleted.
09 Changes to this policy
If the practice described here changes — for example if analytics were ever added — this page would be updated first, with a new date at the top, before that change took effect. The current version always lives at this URL.
Using this site is also subject to the Terms of Service.
